Featuring Special Guest Teachers:
     Lynn Burrows from Claremont, CA
     Rodney Farrar from Denver, CO
     Carey Beth Hockett from Los Angeles, CA
     Julie Newton from La Canada, CA

Activities will include:
     Small group "Technique" classes
     Large group "Repertoire" classes
     Cello Orchestra for all participants
     Advanced Ensemble for students in book 5 and beyond

This year we are featuring a new, innovative curriculum designed especially for beginning cellists. Carey Beth Hockett will be composing an original piece for Cello Orchestra that will include a part suitable for beginners. Also the Technique Class will take the form of a Music and Movement class that does not require playing on the cello. So even if you have only started taking lessons this year, the 2012 Winter Suzuki Cello Workshop will be a valuable and fun experience!

The other aspects of the curriculum will remain unchanged - including the Advanced Ensemble taught by Rick Mooney.

The tuition for the 2012 WSCW has been REDUCED to $75.00. Don't miss this exciting and motivational event!
