Composer: Senturia
This original composition was made specifically for student groups. Originally it was written for 7 cellos. But the composer has written a version for 4 cellos and both versions are included when you buy this piece. The notes are not hard – only parts 1-3 go into any positions and even then not beyond 4th position. The thing that makes it challenging for students is the middle section where there is some interesting rhythm including a lot of after beats. While not extremely easy, it is a very nice piece and really good as a rhythmic teaching vehicle.
